Wheels Slip in Sand, NASA Shock Reading this article on those metal K-9's on Mars: "But engineers studied the problem on Earth using dry sand and learned that they needed to set the controls to overshoot their target while going uphill, while undercompensating when going down.". So what this means that engineers at NASA, those highly intelligent guys couldn't even work out that wheels slip in sand... *shock*
